Yikes. Well take it from someone who has done this with some success. Find out who organizes the fair locally (this is the person that runs the fairgrounds). You can usually find oit who is in charge of selling space from one of the vendors. Might have to make a call or 2. Bit send a professionally written e mail, explaining in simple terms why this was something that bothered you, could reflect negatively on the grounds, and was at best incredibly "ironic" because of the family atmosphere. No doubt at the fair, all the family happiness books are out there. Explain a couple inconsistancies. Maybe quote some magazines. It works.

Imagine being a mother with a 5 year old that has Leukemia. Terrible already.
Now imagine that while treatable, the treatment is a no-go for your religion.
Now you are refusing, and using lawyers and the state regional authorities to essentially argue for your right to refuse what might very well be the only way your child will live further. You probably don't understand much of what is going on. (don't know where the father is because he isn't mentioned).
You are going to court for the right to kill your 5 year old, while not wanting your 5 year old to die.
She may never forgive herself.

I am quite certain a Russian visitors visa requires a return ticket date. It seems obvious to me that the entourage either...
A) Was not all comprised of guys who had flown in (ie: some people had no tickets.....not all)
B) They had tickets and just needed to "move them up" because they were in a hirry. I suppose it sounds less miraculous that way.
C) Its completely made up.
I think its B. But A is viable if, Sandersons possie really rolls that deep?!

They may touch on them, but honestly the "powerful" comment has me concerned. We all know how easy it will be for JWs to write off anything overly theatrical or sensational as "apostate lies".
JWs do not have power over anything at all.......unless that thing was baptized when it was 11.

Strip off the old personality
by eyeuse2badub inyesterday’s watchtower talked about how by becoming a jw it enabled “worldly” people to ‘strip off the old personality’ and make really significantly good changes in their life.. paragraph named 4 individuals (anonymous names of course and probably embellished tales)) sakura, ribeiro, stephen, and hans.
their lives changed for the good because they found god or because they became jw’s---right?.
so on the way home from this wt meeting, my wife commented to me how wonderful our brotherhood is and how it helps people who would otherwise be ‘lost’ n this world.

I remember being in awe would people would say there they were praying, and the next day a JW came to their door. I mean.....wow! First person evidence of angels in action!
Of course then i realized that same platitude has been experienced by literally every single religion on the planet. So maybe God is just screwing with us, or sends the nearest available person from any religion just so you don't do something crazy and become a muslim? Lol.

It really seems to be that they start with the conclusion, and craft an understanding to then bring them there.....and THEN work on fitting scriptures that can be understood several different ways.....into the equation.
The trinity is nonsense. The idea of God having a son, who he eventually requires be murdered in order to fulfill his warped sense of "balance" is also nonsense. Its really something i believe human beings will study a millennium from now with awe, the same way we study Greek mythology today. As in......its kind of fun to know about....and it makes for the occasional blockbuster......but nobody thinks Zeus is coming to put a lightning bolt up your ass if you don't want him to sleep with your mom.

Yeah I think it was brought out, but that is Modalism. It strikes me that very often Trinitarians have no clue how to explain this belief.
Its ridiculous of course, that God would leave his very nature such a mystery, but decide to explain it as "father and son" which we can easily relate to. Well......father and son are separate individuals, not copies of one another, and can act independently. So if thats the illustration God himself chose to use......seems pretty easy to get.
Discussing the Trinity with a JW (or really anyone) is of course a complete waste of time anyways.

JW's are masters.....and I mean MASTERS of having it both way. Cofty mentioned already the preening about regarding the massive distribution of the WT. More than even People magazine and Satans other rags no doubt!
But now all of that gets sliced, and hey its a great arrangement because now we won't be wasting our time.
